The Shire of Esperance wants to replace the aged and weathered Esperance town entry sign. We are committed to creating a welcoming and interactive sign that reflects our community's raw and natural beauty and spirit.

The Council has chosen the concepts below as they feature materials that mature gracefully over time, including wood and metal, surrounded by trees and landscaping. The use of metal aligns with the entry signs of Salmon Gums and Grass Patch, ensuring a cohesive look across the region, and any wood features would utilise Tanker Jetty timbers, adding a touch of local heritage to the design.

Esperance. In your element is the new tourism brand. Launched in September 2024, the brand aims to inspire and facilitate sustainable tourism in Esperance, and celebrates a broader depth of experiences beyond beaches - including local produce, art, history and culture.

The signage would be located on both highways that enter into the Esperance townsite.
